This blog is for my I Found Art Project, where I leave original art in public places to be found by an unsuspecting passerby. Original art that could be in many forms: sketches, paintings, a handmade book, a sculpture… left in conspicuous places like a coffee shop, yoga studio, grocery store cafe, park bench, on a hiking trail – anywhere really.
Who am I? Just me, I love to create and would like to give and share, so here’s one way I can do both. If you really want to know more about me, you can visit my site at visestudio (dot) com.
I’m not the first to do this by any means, actually I got my inspiration from Bookcrossing.com long ago and loved the idea. Leaving art this way could be passed on by the finder (as Bookcrossing does) or simply enjoyed. It’s one way that I can give and hopefully bring a bright spot into someone’s day.
There are no strings, just a request to visit this site, look up the image of the work that you discovered and post a few thoughts on your experience of finding the artwork. It will certainly inspire me and others that read here when you do. The painting is yours, but please respect that it is my original work and is copyrighted as such.
If you found this blog, but didn’t find any art this time, I’d still love for you to share your comments about the project, one of the artworks, whatever comes to mind so choose an image you like or one of the main drop posts and comment there.
Thanks for stopping by!
Warm wishes & creativity,

What a wonderful thing to do. I haven’t found one, but am going to return and see the responses you receive. The paintings I viewed are very colorful and fragile looking. Bravo to you!
Thanks so much for the look and support! These watercolors are such a good change for me (I most often work in wax and acrylic) so doing this project is already a gift. More to release and post this week, so yes, please check back!
I love this idea, how original and what a great way to get people to participate in art and promote their thoughts and ideas for sharing….fabulous….thanks, I’ll have to come back to see how you do…

Hi Roxanne,
I stubbled upon your website looking for watercolor swirls for my website…… maybe divine intervention?
Love your work, love your vibe…. Would you be interested in doing a barter of Flower Essences and a consultation?
